Cavalry Room
The Cavalry Room, dedicated to Ft. Huachuca's "B-Troop" commemorates the history of the U.S. Army's participation in the Indian Wars in the Southwest. Established at nearby Fort Huachuca, Arizona on July 4, 1973, B Troop dresses in authentic uniforms of the U.S. Army in the 1880s. The group participates in military ceremonies, parades, and mounted cavalry demonstrations across Arizona and the nation. Whisper's Sanctuary is a retirement home for these Army horses.
This room features two plush twin-size beds and decor to give an authentic sense of "sleeping under the stars" like a true Cavalry soldier. Decor includes antique gas-style lamps, a McClelland saddle, canteens, split-rail bedframes, glow stars on the ceiling, and the B-Troop flag. Rate: $100.
